Learning Environment for Sustainable Development: OMEP ESD Rating Scale In Russia

Currently, education for sustainable development is a priority area of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). In 2009 the World Organization (OMEP) announced launch an international project on Sustainable Development (ESD) young children, topics which change regularly. The article gives brief overview preschool children in Russia, examines implementation latest OMEP – ESD Project Rating Scale analyzes its first results, difficulties encountered by pedagogues using new method assessment developmental environment, ways to solve them, perception scale pedagogues, options preparing participate organization work environment different kindergartens. importance adapting conditions Russian reality discussed, examples recommendations National Leader use rating indicators are given.
